Lead Scoring & Routing

Score every lead, route it to the right rep

Lead scoring software that ranks your inbound pipeline on transparent rules, so reps work the hottest leads first. Lead routing software then auto-assigns each new lead to the right person — by rule, round-robin pool, or territory — the moment it lands.

Work the best leads first

Every lead gets a 0-100 score and an A-D grade from rules you set. Reps open the list already sorted by fit and intent, so the strongest leads never sit waiting.

No lead waits for an owner

Routing assigns each new lead to a rep the instant it arrives — by rule, round-robin pool, or territory. A default owner catches anything no rule matched, so nothing ever lands unassigned.

Scores you can actually explain

Every point is traceable. The breakdown shows which rules matched and why, so reps trust the grade and managers can tune the model with confidence.

How it works

Every part, explained.

1

Build your scoring rules

Define rules that add or subtract points: intent signals like a pricing-page visit or demo view, firmographics like company size, job-title keywords, or any custom field on the lead.

2

Leads score automatically

As leads come in and signals stack up, KudosCRM totals the matched rules into a 0-100 score, capped sensibly so no single signal runs away with the result.

3

Scores roll up to A-D grades

The total maps to a clear grade: A (80+), B (60+), C (40+), D below. Reps and managers read fit at a glance without decoding a raw number.

4

Routing rules decide the owner

Routing rules run in priority order. The first rule whose conditions match assigns the lead, choosing a fixed rep, rotating through a round-robin pool, or handing it to the rep who owns the matching territory.

5

A fallback owner catches the rest

Leads that match no routing rule fall back to the workspace default lead owner, so nothing ever lands unassigned and slips through the cracks.

6

Reps work a ranked, assigned queue

Each rep opens a list already scored, graded, and owned. The point breakdown is one click away, so they know exactly why a lead is hot before they reach out.

Deep dive

Everything that's in the box.

Rule-based scoring model

Compose scoring from positive and negative rules. Identical inputs always produce the same score, so the model is predictable and easy to audit.

Intent-signal scoring

Score behavioral signals like pricing-page visits, demo views, return visits, and email clicks so engaged leads rise above cold ones.

Firmographic scoring

Add points for ideal-fit traits like company size and job-title keywords to surface leads that match your target buyer.

Custom-field rules

Score on any field you track on a lead with equals, contains, or in-list conditions, so the model fits how your team actually qualifies.

Transparent point breakdown

Open any lead to see every rule that matched, the points it contributed, and the signal behind it. No black-box scores.

Priority-ordered routing

Routing rules evaluate in priority order; the first match wins and assigns the owner, so overlapping rules behave predictably.

Round-robin assignment

Rotate matching leads evenly through a pool of reps for fair distribution, or pin a rule to one fixed owner when you need it.

Default-owner fallback

A workspace-level fallback owner catches any lead no rule matched, guaranteeing every inbound lead has someone responsible.

Territory routing

Build a territory hierarchy with effective dates, priorities, and managers, then route leads — plus companies and deals — to the right team, with a full assignment-history audit.

Live re-scoring

Edit a scoring rule and the whole base re-grades in one coalesced pass, so a model change is reflected everywhere immediately — no manual recalculation.

Lifecycle stages

Move each record through lead → MQL → SQL with a server-enforced map of legal transitions, so the marketing-to-sales hand-off is an explicit stage on the record.

KudosCRM vs. the old way

A different league.

KudosCRM
Spreadsheet / legacy CRM
Ranking inbound leads
Automatic 0-100 score and A-D grade from rules you control
Manual gut-feel sorting, or a static priority column nobody updates
Assigning new leads
Auto-routed to the right rep by rule the moment a lead lands
A manager hand-assigns rows, and hot leads wait until someone notices
Even workload across a team
Round-robin pools rotate leads fairly with no manual tracking
Whoever grabs the row first, or an error-prone tally in another tab
Explaining why a lead is hot
Click into the per-rule breakdown to see every point and signal
A score with no record of how it was reached, if there's a score at all
Routing by region or segment
Territories with a hierarchy and effective dates route leads, companies, and deals to the right team
A rep manually scans for 'their' rows, or a brittle spreadsheet of who-owns-what
