Introduction
This policy explains how KudosCRM uses cookies and similar technologies. For how we handle personal data generally, see our Privacy Policy.
What we use
- Strictly necessary — to sign you in and keep the app secure (session and security cookies). These can't be switched off.
- Functional — to remember your preferences, like theme, language, and display settings.
- Error monitoring — we use a monitoring tool to detect and fix problems, which helps keep the service reliable.
- Analytics — on this marketing website (not inside the KudosCRM application) we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our pages: which sections get read, where people get stuck, and what breaks. Clarity sets its own cookies (named _clck and _clsk) and records the visit — mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling — so we can replay it. We use this to improve the site, and we don't sell the data. Microsoft processes it under its own privacy statement.
- Advertising measurement — on this marketing website (again, not inside the KudosCRM application) we use Google Tag Manager to load the Meta Pixel. It tells us whether a visit that started from one of our ads led to a demo booking or a sign-up, so we can stop paying for ads that don't. The Meta Pixel sets its own cookies (named _fbp and, after a click on a Meta ad, _fbc), and we may also send the same event to Meta from our server with your IP address, browser type, and a hashed version of the email address or phone number you typed into a form. Meta processes this under its privacy policy; Google Tag Manager itself sets no cookies and is governed by Google's privacy policy. These tags load only on the live website, never on staging or inside the product.
We do not use third-party advertising or marketing trackers (no ad pixels) in the KudosCRM application.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. That also clears the analytics and advertising cookies described above, and a browser or extension that blocks third-party scripts will stop Clarity, Google Tag Manager, and the Meta Pixel loading at all. You can also opt out of Meta's ad measurement in your Meta ad preferences. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop parts of KudosCRM from working.
We don't currently display a cookie-consent banner on this website. If you'd prefer we didn't record your visit, block the script in your browser or email [email protected] and we'll help.
Third parties
When you connect an integration (for example Google, Microsoft, or Slack), or when content is served through our hosting/CDN provider, those providers may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Changes
We'll update this policy as our use of cookies changes and post the new date above.
