Turn Your Live Pipeline Into a Revenue Forecast
Forecast revenue from the Deals already moving through your CRM. Use visible probabilities, forecast categories, expected close dates, and real quotas instead of rebuilding the numbers in a spreadsheet.
CRM Rollout — Cascade Manufacturing

Stage default says 40%. This Deal is running at 65% — and only this Deal changes.
The Short Version
What Is Sales Forecasting Software?
Sales forecasting software estimates future revenue from the opportunities already in your sales pipeline, using current Deal data such as value, probability, expected close date, and forecast category. KudosCRM calculates forecasts from live CRM records rather than a separately maintained forecast sheet. Stage probabilities provide the default weighting, reps can adjust probability for individual Deals, and forecast categories separate stronger commitments from the rest of the open pipeline.
Weight Open Revenue
Use Deal value and effective win probability to calculate weighted pipeline value.
Classify the Forecast
Group open Deals as Committed, Likely, Pipeline, or Omitted.
Place Revenue in Time
Use expected close dates to place open Deals into the right monthly bucket.
Compare With the Target
Track actual Closed-Won revenue against monthly, quarterly, or annual rep quotas.
Every number on this page is one you can trace. No AI win-probability model, no invented exchange rates, and no percentage printed from a sample too small to mean anything.
Weighted Value
Build Weighted Revenue From Probabilities You Can See
A useful forecast should show how it arrived at the number. KudosCRM calculates weighted value from Deal value and an effective win probability, so teams can see and change the assumptions behind the forecast.
Set a Probability for Each Open Stage
Each open pipeline stage carries a win probability from 0% to 100%. Won stays at 100% and Lost stays at 0%. Weighted value is Deal Value multiplied by effective probability.
Adjust Probability for One Deal
A rep can override the stage probability for an individual opportunity. A stage default of 40% can be overridden to 65% for one Deal, and that Deal then contributes to weighted value at 65% without changing the probability for every other Deal in the stage.
Keep Weighted Value Consistent
Weighted value is stored and recalculated when the Deal changes, so the board, list, reports, and filters all work from the same calculated number instead of each rebuilding it separately.
Compare Your Probability With Real Conversion
KudosCRM also calculates how Deals from a stage actually converted over the previous 365 days, so the configured probability can sit beside the real conversion rate. It requires a minimum sample before showing that comparison — when the sample is too small it shows no percentage at all, rather than presenting weak data as a meaningful rate.
Configured vs. actual
Negotiation shows a dash, not a number — too few closed Deals to be worth quoting.

Omitted contributes nothing — that is the whole point of the category.
Categories & Timing
Forecast Revenue by Category and Expected Close Date
Weighted pipeline value tells you how much open revenue contributes after probability. The Revenue Forecast adds another question: which month might that revenue land in, and how confident is the team about it?
Use Four Forecast Categories
Every Deal can be classified as Committed (revenue the rep expects to close), Likely (a stronger opportunity that is not yet a firm commitment), Pipeline (open revenue that stays part of the forecast), or Omitted (a Deal that should not contribute to the active forecast view). Categories are seeded when Deals are created and can be changed later.
Review Revenue Month by Month
The Revenue Forecast report breaks revenue down month by month across the window you choose — 3, 6, 9, or 12 months. Each month separates Won revenue, Committed open revenue, Likely open revenue, and Pipeline open revenue. Won revenue uses the actual close date, and open revenue uses the expected close date.
Keep Forecast Periods in the Right Timezone
Forecast dates use the workspace timezone, which keeps Deals closed around midnight from landing in the wrong month, quarter, or quota period.
Keep Mixed Currencies Honest
KudosCRM does not invent currency-conversion rates. Forecast and pipeline money rollups use the workspace currency, and when a view contains incompatible currencies KudosCRM can show a dash instead of adding unlike amounts into a misleading total.
Quotas
Track Quotas Against Revenue That Actually Closed
A forecast shows what may close. Quota attainment shows what already did. KudosCRM keeps those two ideas separate by measuring rep quotas against real Closed-Won Deal data.
Set Quotas by Rep and Period
Create targets for an individual rep using monthly, quarterly, or annual periods. Each quota has an explicit date window and a validated currency.
Track Closed-Won Against Target
Quota attainment is calculated server-side from actual Won Deal data, so there is no reconciling CRM revenue against a separate quota sheet. Teams see target, actual Closed-Won revenue, attainment, and gap to goal.
Scope a Quota to a Territory
A rep quota can also be tied to a territory, which supports regional quota structures without building a separate manual reporting system.
Review Territory Performance Separately
Territory reporting can show Won Deal count, win rate, booked revenue, pipeline, and Lead and Company counts, and parent territories can include results from their child territories. This is territory performance reporting — it is not a territory filter inside the main Revenue Forecast report.
There is no team-level quota entity today. Quotas are stored against individual reps, with an optional territory scope. We would rather say that than let you discover it after rollout.
Give Leaders a Clear View of Forecast, Performance, and Risk
Forecasting decisions usually need more than one number. The Sales Command Center brings current sales metrics, quota progress, pipeline value, and verifiable Deal-risk conditions into one leadership view.
Review the Main Sales Numbers
The Command Center can show win rate, average Deal size, sales-cycle length, pipeline value, booked revenue, and quota attainment, with period-over-period changes and sparklines.
Review Rep Performance
A rep leaderboard lets managers compare current sales results, and an owner filter narrows the Command Center to a selected rep.
See Where Deals Need Attention
KudosCRM surfaces rule-based Deal-risk conditions such as stale beyond the stage SLA, an overdue expected close date, or no next step. These are verifiable CRM conditions, not AI risk predictions.
Review Sales-Cycle Patterns
KudosCRM reports median cycle length for Won versus Lost Deals, median time spent in each stage, and stage-to-stage conversion. There is no named Pipeline Velocity metric — the page would rather name the measures that exist than invent one that does not.
Kudos AI has grounded tools that can read live Deal data for supported pipeline summaries and Deal search. It is not an AI forecasting model, a predictive win-probability system, or a quota-attainment assistant.
How It Works
How Does Sales Forecasting Work in KudosCRM?
Set Stage Probabilities
Give each open pipeline stage a default win probability.
Adjust Individual Deals
Override the stage probability or forecast category for a specific opportunity.
Add the Expected Close Date
The expected close date determines which monthly bucket an open Deal lands in.
KudosCRM Calculates Weighted Revenue
Deal value and effective probability determine the weighted amount.
Review the Revenue Breakdown
See Won and open revenue across the monthly forecast window.
Compare Results With Quota
Track actual Closed-Won revenue against the rep's monthly, quarterly, or annual target.
