The AI drawer: what it can do
Kudos AI sits alongside your work rather than in a separate page — drafting and rewriting email, summarising a record, extracting a document into fields, and drafting a form from a sentence.
Updated August 2026
The useful version of AI in a CRM is not a chatbot in a corner. It is help at the moment you are already doing something — writing an email, reading a long history, retyping a document.
That is what Kudos AI is for, and this is an honest list of what it does.
Who this is for
Anyone who writes email, reads long records, or retypes information from documents.
Before you start
- Permission to use AI features in your workspace.
- Something for it to work from — AI grounded in a real thread or record is useful; asked to invent, it is not.
It drafts; you send
Everything here produces something for you to review. A drafted email is a starting point, a summary is a reading aid, and extracted fields should be checked before they are saved. Treat the output as a first draft from a fast colleague rather than as a finished answer — particularly for anything a customer will read.
What it does
- Draft an email in context
Composes a message or a reply that reflects the actual thread, the deal stage and what was last discussed — rather than a generic template you then have to make relevant. - Rewrite, change tone or translate
Take your own draft and tighten it, shift the tone, or put it in another language, without leaving what you were doing. - Suggest subject lines
Subject and preheader options grounded in the content of the email, which is a better starting point than a blank field. - Summarise a deal or contact
Turn a long history of emails, notes and activities into a short recap of where things stand. Most useful before a call, or when picking up a colleague's account. - Extract a document into fields
Drop in a document or pasted text and have the details pulled into structured fields, so it lands on the record instead of being retyped. - Draft a form from a description
Describe the form you need in a sentence and get drafted fields to adjust — a starting point rather than a blank builder.
What you get
- A first draft instead of a blank page.
- Long histories readable in a few lines before a call.
- Documents turned into record data without retyping.
- Help where you already are, rather than in a separate tool.
Frequently asked questions
Does it send email on my behalf?
No. It drafts; you review and send. That boundary is deliberate for anything a customer will read.
How accurate is a deal summary?
It summarises what is on the record. If the record is thin, the summary will be too — and it is a reading aid rather than a substitute for opening the deal when something matters.
Should I check extracted fields before saving?
Yes. Extraction saves the typing, not the checking. A misread number that goes onto a record unnoticed costs more than it saved.
Can it write in another language?
It can translate and adjust tone on a draft. As with anything customer-facing, have someone who speaks the language read it before it goes out.
