KudosCRM vs Zoho CRM · India

KudosCRM vs Zoho CRM in India: Pricing, Features and What Costs Extra

One subscription, or four? KudosCRM puts the pipeline, help desk, web forms, booking pages and website live chat in one plan, hosted in Mumbai. Zoho CRM is the core of a suite where the full help desk, chat, forms and booking are separate products or a bigger bundle. Here is what that means in rupees, with GST stated, and where Zoho is genuinely the better buy.

KudosCRM vs Zoho CRM: which one should an Indian team buy?

For a small Indian sales team that also answers support questions, KudosCRM is the simpler purchase: pipeline, ticketing, web forms, booking pages and website live chat come in the Professional plan, your data stays in Mumbai, and every workspace starts with 14 days of Pro free, no card.

Zoho CRM is the better purchase when you want one vendor for accounting, payments and fifty other apps, when you file GST from Zoho Books, when WhatsApp is your main sales channel today, or when your team is one to three people and fits Zoho’s free editions.

Recommended for most

KudosCRM

One focused CRM for sales plus support, with the modules an Indian SMB usually buys separately already inside.

  • Ticketing with SLA timers, web forms, booking pages and live chat in the Professional plan
  • 14 days of Pro free, no card, then Free forever for up to 3 users
  • Import contacts, companies, deals and leads from CSV or XLSX with column mapping
  • Hosted on AWS in Mumbai (ap-south-1)
  • Kudos AI summaries, email drafting and document extraction on Professional

The incumbent

Zoho CRM

The centre of a very large suite. Best value when you commit to the whole ecosystem, more to assemble when you only want a CRM.

  • Full help desk, chat, forms and scheduling are separate subscriptions, or a CRM Plus bundle from ₹1,200
  • Free edition has no email integration and no WhatsApp; both start at Standard
  • WhatsApp messages cost credits on top of the licence
  • Depth arrives at Enterprise (₹2,400) and Ultimate (₹2,600), though Blueprint process control starts a tier lower, at Professional
  • Bundle value depends on using Zoho Books, Mail, Projects and the rest

Two things this page will not pretend.

Zoho CRM does include lighter versions natively: web-to-lead forms on every edition, a Cases module from Professional, calendar booking and WhatsApp Business messaging from Standard. And on data location it is a tie — KudosCRM is hosted on AWS in Mumbai, Zoho runs its own Indian data centres in Mumbai and Chennai.

The arithmetic

Five things Zoho’s India pricing page does not tell you

None of this criticises Zoho’s product. It is what the sticker price leaves out.

The free edition is CRM only

Email integration, WhatsApp and calendar booking begin at Standard, so a three-person team that needs its inbox connected is on ₹800 per user before GST, not on the free plan.

Cases is not a help desk

The Cases module from Professional records support issues, but SLA timers, agent queues and a customer portal are Zoho Desk, a second subscription from ₹420 per agent per month. If support tickets matter, price Desk in from day one.

Chat is always a second product

There is no live chat inside Zoho CRM. SalesIQ is free for three operators and then priced per operator, which is fine, as long as it is in the budget rather than a surprise.

WhatsApp needs credits

Native WhatsApp messaging is a real advantage, but every message consumes credits on top of the licence. Ask for the current credit rates before you model the cost.

The bundle maths

Buying the pieces separately costs more than bundling them: ₹1,400 plus ₹420 plus ₹350 is ₹2,170, where CRM Plus Starter covers the same three from ₹1,200. Price Starter first — and note that either way you are comparing a Zoho bundle against a single KudosCRM plan, not CRM against CRM.

How do you move from Zoho CRM to KudosCRM?

Changing CRM does not mean rebuilding your sales process by hand. Five steps, and we do the middle three with you on one call.

  1. Export from Zoho

Contacts, companies, deals and leads as CSV or XLSX.

  2. Import your records

Column mapping, so Zoho's field names land on ours while you watch.

  3. Rebuild the pipeline

Same stage names, same owners, same open deals and values.

  4. Connect email and calendar

Gmail, Outlook or IMAP, plus Google Calendar.

  5. Run both for a week or two

Zoho stays open as a safety net until nobody needs it.

What does not come across: Zoho Blueprints and workflow rules do not export from any CRM and are rebuilt rather than imported. Open tickets and form definitions are recreated too.

When is Zoho CRM the better buy?

You want one vendor for everything

Zoho One puts accounting, mail, projects, campaigns, chat and the help desk on one invoice, and CRM Plus bundles the customer-facing set. If you will actually use five or more Zoho apps, the bundle is hard to beat and KudosCRM is not trying to be it.

You file GST from your accounting software

Zoho Books India does GST returns, e-invoicing through the IRP, e-way bills and multi-GSTIN, and connects to Zoho CRM from the Professional edition. KudosCRM invoices carry a tax percentage per line and stop there.

WhatsApp is your main sales channel today

Zoho CRM messages customers on WhatsApp Business natively from Standard, credits applying, and its follow-up cadences include WhatsApp steps. KudosCRM reaches WhatsApp through the API and a provider today; the native inbox is still in development.

Your team is one to three people

Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk, SalesIQ and Bookings each have a free tier for a very small team. KudosCRM's Free plan also covers 3 users, but ticketing and live chat start on Professional.

You need native mobile apps

Zoho ships Android and iOS apps with offline mode. KudosCRM is an installable web app — its interface is available in English, Hindi and five other languages, but there is no App Store or Play Store app.

You want phone support in IST

Zoho runs toll-free Indian lines on weekdays and has a partner network in most cities. KudosCRM support is email and in-app chat.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is KudosCRM cheaper than Zoho CRM in India?

Yes on every tier, and the gap widens once support is involved. Basic is ₹375 against Zoho Standard at ₹800, and Professional is ₹999 against Zoho Professional at ₹1,400. The bigger difference is the bundle: KudosCRM Professional includes ticketing, forms, booking and live chat at ₹999, where the nearest Zoho equivalent is CRM Plus Starter at ₹1,200, or ₹2,170 buying the pieces separately. All figures are per user per month, billed annually, before GST.

Do these prices include GST?

No. Every figure on this page is before GST, on both sides, which is how Zoho quotes as well. The applicable rate, currently 18% for most Indian businesses, is added to both.

Can I move my data from Zoho CRM to KudosCRM?

Yes. Export your contacts, companies, deals and leads from Zoho as CSV or XLSX, and we map Zoho's field names to ours with column mapping, then rebuild your pipeline with the same stage names. Zoho Blueprints and workflow rules do not export from any CRM and are rebuilt rather than imported.

Where is my data stored if I use KudosCRM in India?

In India. Your app, database and file storage all sit in AWS Mumbai, region ap-south-1. Zoho also runs Indian data centres, in Mumbai and Chennai, so on data location the two are a tie.

Does KudosCRM work with WhatsApp?

Through the REST API and our inbound endpoint, with a WhatsApp Business provider. A native WhatsApp inbox inside KudosCRM is in development and not in the product yet. Zoho is ahead here: it messages on WhatsApp Business natively from the Standard edition, with credits charged per message.

Does Zoho CRM include a help desk?

Not a full one. The Cases and Solutions modules from Professional record support issues, but SLA timers, agent queues and a customer portal are Zoho Desk, a separate product from ₹420 per agent per month. KudosCRM includes ticketing with SLA timers, macros, a knowledge base and a customer portal in the Professional plan at ₹999.

Which CRM is better for a small business in India?

It depends on one question: does the same team that sells also answer support enquiries? If yes, KudosCRM is usually the simpler purchase, because ticketing, web forms, booking pages and live chat are in the plan rather than sold as Zoho Desk, Zoho Forms, Zoho Bookings and Zoho SalesIQ. If your team only sells, and you want accounting and forty other apps from one vendor, Zoho's ecosystem is the stronger argument. Below three or four users both free plans cover you.

Which CRM is easier to set up?

KudosCRM, mostly because we do it with you: a 30-minute call covering the import, your pipeline, and email and Google Calendar connected. Zoho is self-serve with extensive documentation, a large partner ecosystem and free onboarding assistance advertised on its pricing page. Deeper customisation is exactly what takes longer to configure.

Which is better for a real-estate or travel team in India?

Both work, and the deciding factor is usually whether you also handle support enquiries in the same tool. We have written this up in detail for real-estate agencies and for travel agencies.

What does the KudosCRM trial include?

14 days of Pro with everything switched on, and no card. There is also a Free plan forever for up to 3 users, with 1,000 contacts, one pipeline, one form and one inbox.

Selling property or trips? See the pages for real-estate agencies and travel agencies, or browse the integrations directory.
